Our first ever project was an incredible, playful collaboration with three creative young ones. With the guidance they were involved in the whole process of creating a real clothing collection, from initial ideas of what is it that they would like to wear, through selection of fabrics, understanding the shapes of garment, all the way to seeing the fruit of their work being photographed.
Moodboards help us figure out what is it that we like and do not like.
Through involvement in patterns we show the basics of how things are put together.
A tactile experience of fabric selection helps with feeling the difference in various qualities. It opens eyes to an abundance of variety of materials and inspires creativity.
Graphics is just a way to engage with some hand drawing and conceptual thinking.
Through fittings we get to teach about the journey of getting to the final piece and encourage critical thinking.
Photoshoot is a way to show how truly important each stage of the process is that the project participant were involved with. Through seeing the physical fruit of the project we are sure to inspire appreciation.
